Ramblings from The Director

What a great season it’s been! And we’re only 4 shows in with 5 more to go before we kick off the summer season (with some exciting stuff planned already!)

Not so great at the Box Office, though. Sales have been well under what we hoped, but the lessons are clear. You have spoken! And we are listening… closely.

Lesson One – Despite really high quality artists and performers (i.e. Academy and Grammy Award winning Artist Peabo Bryson) there has been resistance to ticket prices.

The 2025 – 2026 season will see significantly lower ticket prices with renewed efforts to provide needed support through Memberships, Sponsorships, and Donations.

Lesson Two – We have to become better marketers and promoters. It’s driving us crazy to hear days after the performance “I wish I’d known that was happening. I would have come!” What worked well in the past, simply doesn’t work any longer.

We’re listening…and learning. We’re grateful for the support you’ve shown. We’ve set a standard for quality we are committed to maintaining. We’re WIDE open to suggestions for shows, movies, direction, and everything else we need to thrive and achieve our goals.
